Part 103 is the one door in American aviation with no lock on it. No license. No medical. No registration. No instructor sign-off. Build it or buy it, and fly it off a grass strip you already have access to.
The catch has never been the rule. The catch is finding out what exists and what it costs. Prices live in email quotes. The same airframe sells under three names. Half the builders publish nothing at all. That is the problem this site exists to solve, and nothing else.
