The lineup
One Part 103 helicopter.
MZ202 carburetted, air cooled. Floats standard, because that allowance is what puts it inside Part 103. Factory finished at $77,000, or buy it in stages: airframe $12,000, drive $9,500, rotor system $12,000, engine and instruments $11,500, control $9,000.
The XE, XE 290, and XET are not Part 103
The XE (kit $57k, RTF $76k) and the turbine XET (kit $74k, 420 lb empty) are different aircraft under a different rulebook. The XEL is the only one on this page. The prices sit close enough together that a buyer can order the wrong one.
Twelve gallons is over the Part 103 fuel limit
Part 103 allows 5 US gallons. The XEL’s published tank is 12. Ask Composite-FX directly how the aircraft is configured to comply before you spend $58,000. We are not going to guess at that for you.
