Belite Enterprises
USA Part 103 Buyer’s GuideBelite Enterprises
We cannot find a Belite website. James Wiebe built carbon-fibre ultralights out of Wichita, which almost nobody else in Part 103 does. As of July 2026 beliteaircraft.com redirects to Radiant Instruments, a different company. We have not been able to confirm that Belite is still selling aircraft.
301REDIRECT, JULY 2026
beliteaircraft.com now lands on radiantinstruments.com. Do not send money anywhere on the strength of this page. If you know where Belite went, or you are Belite, tell us and we will fix this in an hour.
Published today: nothing we can reach. Website not resolving to an aircraft company.
No configurator here, because we will not help you spec an aircraft from a company we cannot reach. If this is wrong, tell us and we will rebuild this page properly.
What we know
Belite built something real. We just cannot find it today.
James Wiebe ran Belite out of Wichita, Kansas, working in composite and carbon fibre in a category that is overwhelmingly tube, fabric, and aluminium. The Chipper and the UltraCub are real aircraft and there are real owners flying them.
What we cannot tell you is whether you can buy one. As of our July 2026 pass, beliteaircraft.com does not resolve to an aircraft company. We are not going to print a model list, a kit tier, or a spec sheet for a company we cannot reach, because you might act on it.
Existing Belite owners looking for parts: we do not have a current source. If you find one, send it to us and we will put it on this page for the next owner who comes looking.
Why this page still exists
Deleting it would be the easy thing.
Belite is still named in forum threads, old reviews, and aggregator listings that were never updated. Someone is going to search for it this month. A page that says “we checked and the website redirects away” is worth more to that person than no page at all, and considerably more than a listing that pretends everything is fine.
This is what unrated means when it is doing its job.

How to reach them directly.
Confirm models, engines, options, and price with the factory.
Part 103 compliance is yours
An aircraft marketed as Part 103 capable can exceed the 254 lb powered empty-weight limit once engines, instruments, and options are added. You weigh the finished vehicle and you confirm compliance with 14 CFR 103 before you fly it. See the Part 103 disclaimer.
Are you Belite? This listing is free and independent, and right now it is thinner than it should be. Send us your model list, engine options, and current kit tiers through the contact page and we will fill it in. The free listing is not conditional on any paid engagement.
Your buyer just configured an airplane. Could they do that on your site?
Built by Christopher Eller. If you build Part 103 aircraft and want this on your own domain, with the leads landing in your inbox instead of ours, that is the whole job and I do all of it.
